Digital Colorimeter for DTC Residuals in Water
This small, easily used digital colorimeter measures residual Sodium Dimethyldithiocarbamate concentrations in water or wastewater with unbelievable accuracy up to 100 ppm (parts per million). Higher concentrations may be measured by simply diluting the sample and then multiplying out the dilution ratio from the unit display. A 5 mL sample and one drop of color indicator is all that is required. Results are displayed immediately.
Titration Test Kit for DTC Residuals in Water
This kit features the same color indicator as the other test kits, but the resulting color is titrated to clarity using the reagent within a serological, direct-reading syringe. When the color disappears, the syringe plunger is resting exactly at the number which represents the concentration of DTC residual in the sample. The titration syringe measures up to 200 ppm but can be reloaded.
Analog Colorimeter for DTC Residuals in Water
These older Hach units have been modified to test for DTC and provide all the safe features of the digital units, but with a needle display. Analog colorimeter tests are accurate up to 100 ppm.
Immersion Test Strips
The immersion test strip kit with built in color indicators allows the operator or technician to establish a general, quick-reference result of residual DTC in water or wastewater. A strip is immersed (dipped) into the sample to be tested for 1 second and then the resulting color is compared to a color indicator chart on the side of the strip bottle. It can measure DTC concentrations from roughly 50 ppm up to about 1,000 ppm.
